Our very own Saving Suffering Strays team member, Sandra Kovac, made an appearance on the TV Programme 'Crafty Beggars' along with her Saving Suffering Strays rescue, Gabi. The programme showed you how you can create your very own doggy bandanas. We are running a campaign for volunteers to make doggy bandanas for Saving Suffering Strays Sarajevo in order to raise funds for Milena to keep rescuing the suffering street dogs of Sarajevo. If you are crafty and are able to make bandanas, or even other hand made items that can be sold to help raise funds for Saving Suffering Strays Sarajevo, please send an email to: email@example.com

€6 COULD BUY A STREET DOG IN OUR KENNELS DINNER FOR 10 DAYS!
Do you ever have to worry if you can afford for your dog to eat? Sadly this is a daily concern for Milena, with 197 dogs in her care, most without sponsors. Every month we have to raise enough money for them all to have enough to eat. We need our dogs to be fit and strong while they wait for their forever families and with temperatures hitting record lows those with not enough nourishment may die. As you look at your dogs with a soft comfy bed and a full tummy, please think of ours who have so little and expect nothing.
Their lives are a struggle to survive every day, but with YOUR HELP they can at least have a nourishing meal. Please consider DONATING today.

This handsome boy Pirate was rescued by Milena from a kill pound at the same time with several other dogs - when desperately needing someone to help them out of misery. Pirate seems to be calm and loving dog who gets along well with humans but can be aggressive to other dogs when they get attention. He is waiting to find an experienced home as an only dog where he can stay forever, be loved and will never need to be scared again. Our kennel owner, Mersad, described him as "My favourite new dog!" Could you be the one to offer Pirate a forever home?
